Empowering Individuals & Families with Housing Solutions and Support Services

As one of Connecticut's largest service providers for the homeless and those facing housing insecurity, Inspirica plays a crucial role in addressing the growing challenges of homelessness and housing instability.

We are one of only a handful of organizations in the nation able to address the physical aspect of homelessness and housing insecurity (residential services) and its underlying root causes (support services) on a single, powerful end-to-end platform. Our programs are fully integrated and leverage each other.

Residential Programs

Inspirica's residential programs provide safe and stable housing solutions for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, empowering them to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. We offer a variety of housing options tailored to meet their unique needs, including:

Support Services

Our in-house support services are extensive and allow us to break the cycle of homelessness.  They include:

Education, Employment & Financial Empowerment Program (E.E.F.E.)

  • Education
  • Employment Services
  • Financial Management
  • Vocational Training

Our E.E.F.E. Program provides clients with the core skills they need to prepare for, find, maintain, and advance in the workplace. Participants develop critical life and work skills that allow them to secure employment and earn the income they need to exit homelessness and maintain healthy, stable lives in the community.

Children's Services

Children's Services

Children are the most effective way to break the cycle of homelessness.

Our Children’s Services Program provides critical foundational, educational, psychological, developmental, and after-school support to the children in our care. This comprehensive approach allows them to maintain stability, gain self-esteem, excel in school, and develop in line with or ahead of their peers who are not homeless.

Early Childhood & Parenting Program

Our Early Childhood and Parenting Program (ECPP) addresses the needs of our youngest, most vulnerable residents (ages 0-5) to provide pre-literacy and school-readiness programming with concurrent education for their parents.

Job & Housing Retention

Job & Housing Retention

Getting a job and housing is only the first step to breaking the cycle of homelessness.  Staying employed and housed is the next.

Our Job & Housing Retention program maintains contact with individuals and families who have recently become employed or moved into permanent housing.

They help clients solve problems and obtain additional services when needed. Without this support, many would lose their jobs or homes, and return to homelessness.

Senior Services

Our Senior Services program plays a vital role in ensuring that our elderly residents have access to the support and resources they need to lead secure and connected lives. Inspirica's dedicated case managers work closely with our seniors to identify and overcome any obstacles preventing them from achieving stability and well-being.

Through our program, seniors receive personalized case management services and property management assistance. We also curate a range of engaging and enriching activities to help our residents maintain a high quality of life. Furthermore, we constantly update and share information on available health services, local entertainment options, and nearby retail establishments.

Case Management

Case Management

Case managers play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support and assistance to our program participants. They assess the needs of each resident and create viable housing plans to help them regain stability and achieve independence. Additionally, they refer our clients to any outside resources they may need through our many community partners, such as government benefits, health clinics, and mental health treatment.

Connecting participants to the educational, financial, housing, and parenting programs offered at Inspirica is a crucial step in the client's journey from homelessness to home. Case managers play a critical role in guiding our clients on their paths to success.
